Buongiorno Digital Innovation India has announced the appointment of Amit Dey (pictured) as the CEO. Dey will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and innovative edge to the organisation, in his new role. He will also lead the team in market-building initiatives and drive key partnerships for the organisation in India and APAC region.Buongiorno Digital Innovation India is JV between Mitsui and Buongiorno, provider of mobile entertainment, information, messaging and marketing services in India and APAC region.

Buongiorno Digital Innovation India appoints Amit Dey as CEO

Buongiorno Digital Innovation India has announced the appointment of Amit Dey (pictured) as the CEO. Dey will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and innovative edge to the organisation, in his new role. He will also lead the team in market-building initiatives and drive key partnerships for the organisation in India and APAC region.

Buongiorno Digital Innovation India is JV between Mitsui and Buongiorno, provider of mobile entertainment, information, messaging and marketing services in India and APAC region.

Makoto Ichikawa, Mitsui - chairman of Buongiorno Digital Innovation India said, “India has huge potential to emerge as a leading VAS market. The new entity Buongiorno Digital Innovation India represents a strategic intent to grow and expand the VAS market in the Asian subcontinent. I am confident that this organization will play a critical role in ushering in a new VAS paradigm in the country.”

Said Dey, “I am excited to join Buongiorno at such a pivotal phase of its growth and lead the transformation in the organization. Also, I look forward to the journey ahead as we expand our footprint in the dynamic VAS industry.”

Dey comes from Axis Print Media, where he was the CEO. He has also worked with OnMobile Global as head, sales and business development - Europe and Americas.
