George has been with MEC since November 2004. She will now focus her attention fully onto business development particularly in the areas of digital and interaction (under MEC Interaction) and partnerships and entertainment (under MEC Access), along with the full integration of these services into the core MEC business. A company statement says she "will also perform a regional Asia Pacific role in the cross-fertilisation of initiatives such as e-learning, data outsourcing and digital integration." She will continue to report to Joost Dop, CEO, Asia Pacific for MEC.

“MEC leads the industry in ensuring that there are continual opportunities for growth and development, even at the most senior levels” commented George, adding, “I am very excited to be taking on this wider business role and look forward to being able to import and export ideas within India and across the region, it’s an exciting time to be working on the integration of our business at all levels. I have great confidence that Gangs and the rest of the management team will take MEC India to even greater heights and I will do everything I can to support them all the way.”
