Speaking about Sharma’s departure, Sam Balsara, chairman and managing director, Madison World, said, “Perry did a terrific job for us in leading one of our largest businesses and I respect his decision to now move from a media agency function. Perry is a true blue professional and what is more a thorough gentleman and the manner in which he has handled his departure at Madison is an example for younger advertising and media professionals to draw inspiration from. I wish him all success in future.”

On Singru’s appointment, Punitha Arumugam, chief executive officer, Madison Media Group, said, “I am delighted to have Ashish in my team and I am sure he will bring fresh thinking and fresh approach based on his experience in US, which will help us take Airtel to the next level of success.”
