MMGB: Newcastle says cheers to America's 'Independence Eve', with ifwewon.com

Newcastle Brown Ale has rolled out a campaign ahead of American Independence Day, which falls on 4 July. The brand's 'If We Won' campaign follows on the lines of the brand's 'IfWeMadeIt.com', which made its mark during Super Bowl.

A series of teasers are being released in the lead up to 'Independence Eve', which the brand has chosen to celebrate. The lighthearted films tell the story of what America would have been if Great Britain had won the Revolutionary War (1775-1783), the military rebellion which gained America independence.

The fit lies in the fact that Newcastle is a beer with its origins in England.

The campaign consists of ten films (six of which have been released on the www.ifwewon.com as on date).
