Men are the most passionate supporters of women's cricket: Finn Bradshaw, ICC

The International Cricket Council's head of digital speaks with Campaign India on how the council is using the medium to connect with fans around the globe

In October 2019, Campaign India spoke with Finn Bradshaw, who was then head of digital strategy for Tennis Australia. In the midst of the world being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, in July 2020, Bradshaw moved from Australia to the United Arab Emirates to take over as the head of digital for the International Cricket Council (ICC).

In the video (above), he talks to us about the change from tennis to cricket, how the council kept engaging with fans during the pandemic, whether television continues to rule cricket consumption, different roles of social media platforms, plans for 2021 with the Test Cricket Championship, the Men’s T20 World Cup in India, and how it looks to interact more with a diverse audience outside of its core.
