Akanksha Foundation, an NGO that works to educate children from underprivileged segments, has rolled out a film featuring children from the foundation singing the national anthem.

The children don’t just sing the anthem, but also display its meaning through visuals, to teach those who do not know the meaning of the national anthem. According to the film, nine out of 10 Indians don’t.

After singing their ode to the ‘God of India’s destiny’, the children make an earnest appeal inviting viewers to teach them something in turn.

Campaign India wishes readers on the occasion of India’s 68th Independence Day, the upcoming Parsi New Year and Janmashtami festival, and of course, a wonderful weekend.
