Your weekend reading list

BBC India's Myleeta Aga recommends 'Outliers' and 'In Other Rooms, Other Wonders'

Your weekend reading list

Myleeta Aga is general manager and creative head, BBC Worldwide Productions, India. Here are her suggestions for what bibliophiles could pick up this weekend:

"'Outliers' by Malcolm Gladwell is an entertaining read for the weekend. It is sometimes predictable – as when Gladwell suggests that taller footballers have a better chance of making the school team but offers a refreshing perspective on success and the factors that lead to it.

I also hope to get past the first two short stories 'In Other Rooms, Other Wonders' by Daniyal Mueenuddin. Daniel paints vivid and poignant portraits of everyday people. Images lift off the pages and the characters are colourful. A must read!"
