Yatra promotes upgraded website

Yatra has unveiled a new TVC to promote the non-air products of Yatra.com, especially hotels and holidays. "We did a nationwide study across India to understand how consumers buy hotels, especially online," said Nikhil Rungta, head marketing, Yatra.com. "Some of the key findings implied that most travellers did not trust what is being offered online as pictures of the hotel site are misleading, there are no reviews, etc."
Based on this feedback, Yatra.com made enhancements to their product and consumers can now view videos of the hotel, read reviews from travellers and locate the hotel on the map.

The 30-second spot titled 'Blindfold' is created by Leo Burnett and is built around the creative concept, "when it comes to hotel bookings, you can trust Yatra.com blindly." The commercial shows a couple entering a hotel room with a blindfold and being fully aware of the amenities provided to them. With the blindfold on, the wife says "I see all" and makes herself comfortable on the bed while the husband checks out the bathroom, etc. The shot then cuts to Yatra.com's home-page and the voice over says, "See everything at Yatra.com."
