Weekend fun (1): The battle for 'Number 1' begins on Sunday

The battle for 'Number One' begins this weekend with the number one ODI team, India, taking on the second rankedAustralia. The first One Day International (ODI) of the seven-match series takes place on Sunday, in Pune. If Australia do manage to win the seven-match ODI series (by a big margin), they could replace India as the top ODI team. The ODI series follows the solitary T20 international, which India won by six wickets on 10 October.

The match begins at 13:30 hours, and will be telecast on Star Sports, Star Cricket and Star Cricket HD.

For this bilateral series, Star Sports had launched a campaign, themed around, 'The Fight for No. 1'.
