Truecaller, the global communications platform, has appointed Vikas Khanna as Senior Director, Ad Sales, Truecaller India. In this role, Vikas will oversee the company’s direct sales business, with a focus on driving premium, industry-vertical-led solutions and expanding direct brand partnerships as Truecaller accelerates growth in its advertising segment.
Over the past year, Truecaller has reshaped its advertising approach, emphasizing data-driven, industry-led solutions. The company has introduced premium direct-only inventory, bespoke innovation packages, and advanced measurement tools, including its proprietary “ROI of Trust” framework, which quantifies the tangible business impact of trust-based advertising. These initiatives enable advertisers to gain deeper insights, optimize campaigns faster, and establish results-oriented partnerships.
Vikas Khanna brings over 25 years of leadership experience across print, television, and digital media. He has previously held senior roles at top Indian media and technology organisations, including Jio Hotstar, Star Sports, ITV Network, TikTok, NewsX, TV18, NDTV, Times of India, and India Today Group. His appointment strengthens Truecaller’s senior leadership in ads and reinforces the company’s strategic focus on India as a key growth market.
