TDSAT rules in favour of Viacom18

TDSAT today passed an order on Viacom18’s plea against MSM Discovery, the summary of which is:· TDSAT restrains MSM Discovery from interfering in Sun18 operations. · TDSAT restrains MSM Discovery from representing Viacom18 channels any more.

TDSAT today passed an order on Viacom18’s plea against MSM Discovery, the summary of which is:

· TDSAT restrains MSM Discovery from interfering in Sun18 operations.

· TDSAT restrains MSM Discovery from representing Viacom18 channels any more.
 
Viacom18, whose channels are a part of the bouquet offered by Sun18 (the alliance between Network18 and the Sun Group), had initiated legal action against MSM Discovery before the TDSAT and claimed Rs 127 crores for damages, material breaches, misrepresentation and under-reporting of subscriber base.
