Spikes Asia 2014: 36 shortlists from India in seven categories announced on Day Three

Thirty six Indian entries are among shortlists announced in seven categories on Day Three of Spikes Asia 2014.

 

Branded Content and Entertainment

 

India has three shortlists in this category, of which JWT's ‘Make Every Yard Count’ for Nike accounts for two. Lowe Lintas and Partners received the other for Kan Khajura Tesan.

 

Direct

 

Eight Indian entries have made the cut in this category. Cheil has two shortlists for ‘The Light Bag’ for Salaam Balak Trust. McCann Worldgroup India has two as well, both for Share My Dabba.

 

Creativeland Asia’s ‘The Newspaper That Shook The Press’ for Café Cuba, Ogilvy's ‘Message Barter’ for The Akanksha Foundation, Havas’ ‘No Child Brides’ for Child Survival India and BBDO’s ‘Dream2Advance’ for Visa are also among shortlists.

 

Promo & Activation

 

There are nine shortlists from India in this category.

 

JWT’s entry for Nike ‘Make Every Yard Count’ has snared three. Havas and BBDO have two shortlists each for ‘No Child Brides’ and ‘Dream2Advance’ respectively.

 

Geometry Global’s ‘Jump Pump’ for Hindustan Unilever and McCann’s ‘Share My Dabba’ are shortlisted too.

 

Radio

 

Ogilvy & Mather has the only Indian shortlist in the category for ‘The Train’, for Mumbai Police.

 

Film

 

Three Indian entries are among shortlists in this category: BBH's ‘Grandma’ for Skoda, O&M’s ‘Reunion’ for Google Search  and JWT’s ‘Make Every Yard Count’ for Nike.

 

Film Craft

 

Of of the five shortlists from India in this category, JWT has three and BBH the other two.

 

All three of JWT’s shortlists are for ‘Make Every Yard Count’ for Nike. BBH’s entries shortlisted are ‘Grandma’ and ‘Hydrant’ for Skoda.

 

Print & Poster Craft

 

McCann accounts for three of the seven shortlists in this category for work on Yatra.com. DDB Mudra Group work for Volkswagen has won the agency two shortlists. JWT (for Godrej) and Grey (for Duracell) have one shortlist each.
