Shavon Barua joins PHD as managing partner
Shavon Barua has joined PHD India as managing partner. Barua will head the Mumbai office and her key responsibility is to manage the Unilever digital portfolio. She takes up the new role today, 10 August 2015.

Speaking with Campaign India, Barua said, "Joining PHD was a no-brainer. The ambition the agency has is fantastic. I was very excited with what they intend to do. The energy is right. The top management - Susana Tsui (CEO, Apac) Jasmin Sohrabji (CEO, South East Asia and India, Omnicom Media) and Jyoti Bansal (MD, PHD) -  together are a very sorted and focused lot. It seems like a place that's pretty serious about growth."

Barua was president – South and West, Havas Worldwide. She has also worked with JWT, Ambience, Rediffusion Y&R, SSC&B Lintas and Clarion, where she started her career.
