Sarah Ivey promoted to global chief strategy officer at Initiative

Initiative has promoted Sarah Ivey to the position of executive vice president and global chief strategy officer. Prior to this, Ivey was executive vice president, director of communications planning, Initiative Worldwide.

This makes Ivey Initiative’s first worldwide head of strategy.

Jim Elms, CEO, Initiative, said, “Anyone who knows or has worked with Sarah will know exactly why she has been promoted into this role. Not only does she work incredibly hard and has visited more offices and helped more clients than anyone in our organization, but she is also brilliant at her job, she is tireless and is a great team player. On top of that she’s interesting, humble and just incredibly nice. Initiative is extremely lucky to have her.”

Ivey joined Initiative in 2000 as VP, strategic planning and later became general manager of Initiative Canada.
