Roger Darashah joins Rediffusion/Edelman as director

 

Roger Darashah from Edelman’s Barcelona office has taken charge as director, Rediffusion/Edelman. He will be working on the Tata mandate companies. Prior to this he was executive vice president and deputy managing director of Edelman EMEA.
 
Darashah has close to 20 years of PR experience and has managed international programmes for companies like Hewlett-Packard, Adobe, Research in Motion (Blackberry), Gamin, Western Digital and Compaq. 
 
Commenting on his move, Darashah said, "I am really excited about the opportunity of working with the Tata Group of companies whose reputation and customers extend well beyond India. I am particularly looking forward to building on my experiences of globalizing brands, in this case  from the vantage point of one of the most exciting and dynamic economies in the world.” 
 
Robert Holdheim, managing director, Edelman India, added," I am looking forward to Roger’s experience in managing multi-markets across countries bringing an organisational excellence to the management of the Tata mandate in public relations”.

Before joining Edelman, Darashah was managing director of the technology PR agency Hotwire France for five years. He has also worked with Cable & Wireless and Weber Shandwick.
