Design, communications and films agency Rickshaw, recently launched by Shormistha Mukherjee, Suhas Parab and Mahua Hazarika, has won its first multi-agency pitch. The agency has won the creative mandate of Aroma Telecom, makers of mobile handsets.

Speaking about the win, Mukherjee said, "Aroma and Rickshaw are both embarking on a new journey. Unlike large established agencies, we at Rickshaw are willing to look at categories afresh and create exciting platforms for a new brand like Aroma. The market for mass market mobiles is increasingly looking commoditized. Our challenge is to make Aroma a genuine brand. And of course, for a new agency like us, it’s always a joy when you get an account where you build from scratch. It’s going to be a great ride!"

The TV-led campaign for Aroma Telecom is already on air.
