Rickshaw wins Aroma Telecom business

Design, communications and films agency Rickshaw, recently launched by Shormistha Mukherjee, Suhas Parab and Mahua Hazarika, has won its first multi-agency pitch. The agency has won the creative mandate of Aroma Telecom, makers of mobile handsets.

Design, communications and films agency Rickshaw, recently launched by Shormistha Mukherjee, Suhas Parab and Mahua Hazarika, has won its first multi-agency pitch. The agency has won the creative mandate of Aroma Telecom, makers of mobile handsets.

Speaking about the win, Mukherjee said, "Aroma and Rickshaw are both embarking on a new journey. Unlike large established agencies, we at Rickshaw are willing to look at categories afresh and create exciting platforms for a new brand like Aroma. The market for mass market mobiles is increasingly looking commoditized. Our challenge is to make Aroma a genuine brand. And of course, for a new agency like us, it’s always a joy when you get an account where you build from scratch. It’s going to be a great ride!"

The TV-led campaign for Aroma Telecom is already on air.
