Rediffusion bags Shyam Steel's creative mandate
Shyam Steel Industries has appointed Rediffusion to handle its creative duties post a multi-agency pitch.

The company has previously released campaigns featuing its brand ambassador Virat Kohli.

Govind Beriwal, director, Shyam Steel, said “When we started looking for a creative agency, we were looking for two things: a strong creative potential and sound strategic council. Reason for choosing Rediffusion, as Shyam Steel’s creative agency is that they are not only skilled and passionate in helping create great campaigns and build strong brands, but importantly, are also proficient at helping businesses grow. Innovative thinking across the marketing spectrum was our prime requirement and we found Rediffusion match our brief very well.”

Navonil Chatterjee, joint president and CSO, Rediffusion, said, “Kolkata is an important market for Rediffusion and we have a crack team there. I am looking forward to some great, market-moving work on Shyam Steel, work that matches the client's ambitions on the brand."

Piyash Ghosh and Nilanjan Dasgupta, ECD and EVP, Rediffusion, said, “Shyam Steel has an extensive advertising plan for the future. As an agency, we are delighted to partner them in their progress."
