Origin Beanstalk bags creative duties for Gufic Biosciences

Gufic has appointed Origin Beanstalk Creative Consultants as its creative partner to build and manage their product portfolio in the new Stress Management category.

Confirming the development, Anil Kamath, vice president, Consumer Products Division, Gufic, said, “After evaluating work from a lot of other agencies, we finally zeroed in on Origin Beanstalk for their proactive, fresh and systematic approach to the entire communication. I am sure their collective experience and expertise with strong business insights into this category will help Gufic establish this brand in the market.”

Gufic Biosciense Ltd. is a listed company with a strong presence in pharmaceuticals as well as consumer products category. Some products on the company’s portfolio include Stretch Nil, Acti-slim, Shapers Sanitary Napkins and Roll-on, cold rub oil.

Upendra Singh Thakur, co-founder, Origin Beanstalk, added, “While there are other products in this category, the market in India is still in its nascent stage and awareness of stress and its effect on one’s lifestyle and surroundings is minimal. It’s a great opportunity for the agency to build this OTC brand from the scratch, right from brand identity to packaging to a focused integrated campaign for the launch, targeting consumers in eight key cities across India in the launch phase.”

The first product to be launched under this umbrella is an anti-stress herbal tablet, which will soon be followed with other product variants too.
