He has been with the research firm for 12 years across markets, last responsible for client service in Singapore

Nitin Nishandar promoted APAC head of brand and communication practice at TNS

Research company TNS has appointed Nitin Nishandar as regional managing director for its brand and communication practice in Asia Pacific. Nishadhar will be reporting to Chris Riquier, CEO, Asia Pacific, and will continue to be based in Singapore where he headed client service until the development. He moved into the new role from 1 July 2013.

On the development, Riquier said, “Nitin is a strong, client-centric leader who has extensive experience of helping clients develop winning brand and communications strategies. We’re delighted to recognise his contribution with this promotion and pleased to support his career development at TNS.”

Nishandar added, “It is an exciting time for brand and communication research as the ways customers experience and connect with brands have seen huge changes. TNS has invested heavily to develop innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of our clients. I’m delighted to lead TNS’s team of incredible practitioners in this field.”

Nishandar has worked for TNS for 12 years, across offices in Egypt, India, Taiwan and Thailand before moving to Singapore.
