Must watch on TV: The London derby in the BPL

There’s plenty of football action from the Barclays Premier League in England coming your way this weekend. In a week of football which sees four teams out of the top five go head to head against each other (before the week started), a victory for either of them will go a long way in determining their future successes. 

The weekend starts of with the Birmingham derby with Aston Villa taking on West Bromwich Albion at Villa Park at 8:25 pm, Live on ESPN. In the late kickoff on Saturday night, Newcastle will hope to start of their reign without former manager, Chris Hughton  at St James’ Park with a win over Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool.  The game kicks off at 11:00 pm, Live on ESPN.

In BPL action on Sunday, Bolton Wanderers host Blackburn Rovers at 7:00 pm. The second game on Sunday, is the London derby, which features Tottenham Hotspur, fresh from winning their group in the Champions League, against champions Chelsea at 9:30 pm. Both the games are Live on ESPN.

Note: Manchester United take on Arsenal in the early hours of Tuesday. Kick off is at 1:30 am, Live on ESPN.

Further, Golf fans can look forward to days three and four of the Australian PGA Championship on STAR Sports from 7:30 am on Saturday and Sunday.

In cricket, Bangladesh take on Zimbabwe in the fifth ODI of their five match series. The game from Chittagong starts at 8:30 am, Live on NEO Cricket.

Also, the fifth ODI between India and New Zealand is currently being played at the M.A Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. Tune into NEO Cricket to find out if India manage a five nil whitewash over the Black caps.
