IMX hires Archana Vyas as VP, India-north and east

India Media Exchange (IMX) has appointed Archana Vyas as vice president, India-north and east. She will be located in New Delhi and will report to Mona Jain, head, strategic investments, IMX.

India Media Exchange (IMX) has appointed Archana Vyas as vice president, India-north and east. She will be located in New Delhi and will report to Mona Jain, head, strategic investments, IMX.
Vyas comes from Reckitt Benckiser where she was working as manager – media and corporate communications, South Asia. At Reckitt Benckiser, she was a part of the global media team and handled media responsibilities for India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.  Vyas has worked for agencies including Ogilvy and Mather, Draftfcb+Ulka, Mudra Communications, Universal McCann and Mindshare. She has handled brands such as Pepsi, Nestle, Frito Lay Seagrams, BBC Worldwide, Usha  Shriram and Discovery Channel.
 Jain said, “Archana is one of the most talented and respected people in the media industry. She has an excellent understanding of client expectations, having been a client herself and a strong equity in the market. She will add to the management bandwidth of IMX and help us deliver to our clients a second generation investment product, which IMX is committed to. We are very excited to have her in our team.”
Vyas said, “I have keenly followed the evolution of IMX since its launch in April last year and have been impressed with the growth of Starcom and ZenithOptimedia, powered by IMX. My early discussions with Mona and other senior IMX managers convinced me of the game changing model they are trying to build. I hope to be able to leverage my experience on the client side as well my international media exposure, understanding of the Indian media market, to deliver value to IMX clients."
