Rapid fire with Zee's Mona Jain

Our year-ender this time around places the fraternity on the 'hot seat' to answer questions about the year gone by and their expectations from 2024

Rapid fire with Zee's Mona Jain

Campaign India's year-ender series continues with Mona Jain, chief revenue officer, Zee Media.

This year, we're reaching out to the advertising, media and marketing communities, and asking them to give quick, crisp answers to a set of questions intended to highlight the highs and lows of the year gone by, and their take on technology advancements.

Here's Jain's take on it:

Data or gut: Always a balance of two – data guides you and enables to build an informed strategic approach. Gut guides and takes one to the right path and outcome.

AI a boon or bane: AI is a boon – enables foolproof, quick data analytics and allows more time and insights for experts to deep dive and build contextual solutions in one's area of expertise. Important to use it relevantly and apply it.

A gift you want from Santa: Clarity of thought and focused outlook for the greater good and progression of the organisation and the industry – and be fearless.

One piece of professional advice you would give to your past self at the beginning of 2023: Meticulous planning and setting of goals and most importantly supporting the right talent to deliver them.

The most valuable lesson you learned from a professional failure this year: If you have the conviction, then don’t fear the outcome - it will only open new opportunities.

If your New Year resolution had a tagline for 2024, what would it be? Be the change and motivate people in your environment to adapt to change.
