I Venkat appointed MRUC chairman

He takes over from CVL Srinivas, CEO, Group M South Asia.

I Venkat appointed MRUC chairman
At its Annual General Meeting held in Mumbai on 25 September, the Media Research Users Council (MRUC) named I Venkat, director, Eenadu, its new chairman for 2015-'16.
 
He takes over from CVL Srinivas, CEO, Group M South Asia.
 
Sanjay Tripathy, ‎senior EVP – head marketing, product, analytics, digital and e-Commerce at HDFC Life, was appointed vice-chairman. He takes over from Rohit Gupta, president, network sales, licensing and telephony at MSM.
 
Srinivas was appointed as chairman of the council in May 2015 after then chairman Ravi Rao joined  Mindshare MENA as chief client officer and moved to Dubai.
