Flipkart to roll out streaming service
Flipkart is set to roll out a video streaming service according to media reports. The streaming service will be launched around Diwali this year (last week of August).

Flipkart Videos will launch free video streaming for its users. Flipkart would offer movies and web series on its app to begin with. The e-commerce portal isn't looking at original content to begin with.

This follows Flipkart Plus was launched last year by the e-commerce platform and offers faster shipping and deals for its members, like Amazon's Prime. Users can become Flipkart Plus members by earning SuperCoins. These coins are earned post purchases.
