Fleishman-Hillard India appoints Riitu Chugh as SVP and digital strategist

Fleishman-Hillard has appointed Riitu Chugh as senior vice president and digital strategist at the agency. Chugh is based in New Delhi and will be responsible for growing the agency’s digital business across India. Chugh has over 18 years of experience across industry sectors and was most recently working with Digitas India, where she was handling an IT services and mobile handset brand.

Lynne Anne Davis, president - Asia Pacific, Fleishman-Hillard, said, “We continue to build our infrastructure of social media and integration experts across the region to answer mounting client opportunities and demand. Prompting, driving and inciting the right conversations take a skilled strategist, especially in a market as unique and important as India. Riitu has the ability to identify and mine that consumer insight ‘sweet spot’ into a compelling social media and digital campaign. We’re fortunate to have her strategic thinking and deep digital knowledge on our team.”

“Communications agencies are all about managing conversations and continuing to engage readers, listeners, decision-makers and opinion-formers with magnetic content,” added Chugh.

Chugh has previously worked with advertising companies such as Chaitra/Leo Burnett, Hakuhodo Percept and Interone Resonance-BBDO. In 2008, she had joined Hungama Digital, before moving to Digitas India.
