Cannes Lions 2023: Hear from the Indian speakers this year (part three)

A sneak peek into what PG Aditiya and Gautam Reghunath are going to talk about at the festival

Cannes Lions 2023: Hear from the Indian speakers this year (part three)
22 June is the unofficial 'India Day' at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, as four different panels consist of Indian speakers.

We caught up with BBDO's Josy Paul, Leo Burnett's Dheeraj Sinha, Ogilvy's Sukesh Nayak, Spotify's Neha Ahuja, Talented's PG Aditiya and Gautam Reghunath to get a sneak peek of their talks.

This is what PG Aditiya and Reghunath had to say.

What can the audience expect from you?

Unsurprisingly, our hidden agenda in wanting to speak at this year's Lions is to also explain our absence last year - to a global audience, directly. It's likely hard for them to care about a one-year-old indie in our part of the world, but an indie founded by the same folks who secured last year's 'agency of the year' title and created the Unfiltered History Tour? We're betting that that's maybe worth their attention. Our session is half-autobiography, half-practical advice about going independent in 2023. It's titled 'Don't Quietly Quit. Loudly Start.'

Any jargon that you're consciously going to steer clear from?

All jargon, hopefully!

One speaker that you're looking forward to hearing from during the festival?

So many. Fellow speakers from India like Sukesh Nayak, Josy Paul and Neha Ahuja. International speakers like Kristen Cavallo, Dave Droga and Fernand Machado. And from the entertainment industry - Jon Batiste and especially Kara Swisher!

The duo will be on stage at 2:30 pm at The Forum in Palais 1 on 22 June.
