The agency is reportedly looking to add businesses beyond Hyundai in India. Through the year, Innocean added businesses like Sleepwell Mattresses and Open magazine. The jury felt that the agency is still recognised as Hyundai’s in-house agency and needs to have some visible work on other brands in the coming years. The agency had also announced the launch of its sports marketing and event management vertical in 2011, for which they hired Tarun Chowdhury as group director. Rudraksha Ghosh joined the vertical as business head for events and activation. To handle the digital side of business, Innocean Worldwide has appointed Shankar Narayan as business head for the division. The agency was handling Hyundai Motor’s long-term association with International Cricket Council (ICC) as the official car partner during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, and handled several promotional initiatives.

Innocean Worldwide India is now spreading its wings beyond its anchor client Hyundai Motor India. Apart from consolidating our position with KEI Wires, Aureole Inspecs and Fena’s Personal Care Range we have grown organically as well as by acquiring new clients. The big boost for us has been in sports marketing, events and digital. Innocean is working with its clients in identifying sports related opportunities that will amplify branding and messaging in an endearing and memorable fashion. Digital communication and media team is another forward looking initiative that is working towards sensitising clients about the emerging scenarios in the digital arena and also evangelising its role as a definitive part of the marketing process. These have had a very positive impact on the agency’s revenue and will help us achieve a top-line growth of 21percent in the year 2011. That said our clients have expressed a very high degree of satisfaction in our work and services reaffirming our belief in a dynamic approach to the business of building brands. The creative work, the integration efforts across platforms, have come in for a lot of critical acclaim. The ramping of Hyundai’s cricket association by way of an anthem, First Ball Tour,and Fan Parks has been a winner. The relaunch of Nip dish-cleaner by Fena with Germiclean has reaped good numbers too. The team is on a high and is gunning for some industry-wide ripples at award shows in the coming year.
