Campaign India Agency Report Card 2011: AMO Communications

How Campaign India rates the agency: 4

Campaign India Agency Report Card 2011: AMO Communications

Type of agency: Advertising

Ownership: Independent

Key Personnel: Elvis Dias, managing partner and chief executive officer, Jitendra Khokle, chief operating officer, Bob D’Silva, national creative director

Account won: NewsXpress, Sansui, Kelvinator

Account lost: Wella, Mahuaa Media

The jury evaluated agencies on one significant perception: the agency’s work throughout the year that could speak for it. While AMO won the NewsXpress and Sansui and Kelvinator accounts this year, the jury members unanimously felt that they had not seen any significant work from the agency in 2011. The agency also reportedly lost Wella, just a year after winning the account, and Mahuaa Media as well. Percept has parted ways with AMO,  but with the agency continuing to be empanelled on various tourism accounts, we hope to see some visibility from the agency next year.
