BARC India to resume publishing individual news channel ratings
BARC India has announced that it will resume the release viewership data for individual news channels.

The data will be released as per the augmented data reporting standards for news and special interest genres.

Reporting of audience estimates will be rolled out on a 4-week basis every week on the Yumi platform. Estimates for all other channels too will be released simultaneously.

The data will be released to the market starting 17 March 2022, which is BARC India's tenth reporting week of the year.

BARC India stated that it is working towards ensuring the seamless release of individual news channel data. It will also reach out to its constituents to inform and educate them about the details of the augmented data reporting standards, ahead of the ratings resumption.
