Amap beefs up top management team

Audience Measurement and Analytics (Amap) has made appointments for its top management team. It has appointed Joseph Eapen (pictured) as the director – research, Ravi Katoch as the national head – client engagement and Vitthal Sonavane as head – technology.

Audience Measurement and Analytics (Amap) has made appointments for its top management team. It has appointed Joseph Eapen (pictured) as the director – research, Ravi Katoch as the national head – client engagement and Vitthal Sonavane as head – technology.

Amit Varma, CEO, Amap said, "The new management team will redouble Amap's efforts to provide an innovative range of value-added services to the advertisers, broadcasters, media planners and buyers." 
Before this assignment, Eapen has worked with Television Audience Measurement (TAM) and has managed the first TAM operation (AGB Gulf) in the Gulf for 8 years in the 90s. He was also instrumental in the launch of TGI (a network of single-source syndicated consumer surveys) in the Gulf.
Katoch was with Henkel India where he became the national sales manager of Schwarzkopf Professional (the Hair Care Division). He was also responsible for setting up the distribution system for Tata Tea in Central India. Prior to joining Amap, Sonavane worked with ITNation for 8 years, where he built the technology team. During his tenure, ITNation also put up India's first B2B marketplace for the Indian IT industry which enabled it to become a leading IT Media house in India.
