For week 18 (April 27-May 3), all the Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) barring 9X found the going tough. For C&S 4+ (aMap data) STAR Plus continues to lead with 269 GRPs followed by Zee at 175 GRPs. 9X is now the clear third placed channel with 96 GRPs. Sony's slide continues with the channel (69 GRPs) behing NDTV Imagine's 72 GRPs. Sahara One and STAR One are at 57 GRPs and 56 GRPs respectively. The GEC picture will get murkier with the launch of Viacom 18's yet unnamed channel later this month.
