The shortlisted entries for Emvies 2009 have been announced. Sixty case studies in total have been shortlisted.

For best media innovation- print, Starcom MediaVest Group’s Aircel - World of Possibilities, Mediaedge:cia’s Zee Tamil - Wake Up to Tamil, Mindshare’s Surf - Playground is a Classroom without Walls, Maxus’ Tanishq Aleya - Tanishq Magic Mirror and Lodestar Universal’s Tata Nano - How WE SAID IT UnCommonly have been shortlisted.

For best media innovation-direct marketing, Lodestar Universal’s TIMES OOH - You are in the News! and Amul Ice Cream - Amul Ice Cream Khao, Star Plus pe Aao and Mudra Max’s Park Avenue Shirts - Iron Man have got shortlisted.

For best media innovation- ambient media/OOH, Mudra Max’s Park Avenue Shirts - Iron Man and Hindustan Times Newspaper - Opinion Poll and Lodestar Universal’s Tata Nano - Nano ya Na maano! have made it to the shortlist.

For best media innovation-digital, Mindshare’s Star World - Matt the Mind Reader, Lux - Lux Provocateur and AXE - 11/11, the day that almost all young Indians gasped with chocolate on Internet screens and Tribal DDB India’s Idea Cellular - Idea Mobile Roadie Challenge have been shortlisted.

For best media innovation-cinema, Maxus’ Tata Sumo Victa - India's First Lyricode, Reebok - Reebok Just Did It, Impossible is Nothing! and Sonata 101 Collection - Carpet Bombing with Cinema, Mates-Madison Teamwork FP & E’s Asian Paints Kids World - Chalk Board & Glow Wall : Bhoothnath and Maybelline Moisture Extreme : Dostana, P9 Integrated’s Asian Paints Limited - Multiplex on Ground Movie Association of Asian Paints – Bhoothnath and Mindshare’s Sunsilk - Sunsilk Styles Bollywood have been shortlisted.

For best media innovation-events, Mindshare’s Virgin Mobile- Live Stunt/Advertising with a bollywood potboiler flick, lights, camera…Brand Launch! and Wheel - Touring Talkies in Jatra and Mudra Max’s TVS Scooty - Women on Wheels have been shortlisted.

For best media research, Madison Media Infinity’s Cadbury Perk - Is Continuity the Only Remedy? and Cadbury Dairy Milk - Weight Management! and Mediaedge:cia’s Agency Research - Future gazing into IPL 2 have been shortlisted.

For best media strategy-consumer products, Mindshare’s Nimbooz - Unlocking Potential of the 'Ekdum Asli Indian Refresher', Kurkure - Kurkure Family 'Adopts' a New Member! and Dove Soap - The Ultimate Test, Madison Media Infinity’s Cadbury Celebrations - Special Diwali Pack : Media Convergence and MediaCom Media India’s Gillette Mach 3 - India Votes : To shave OR Not to shave have been shortlisted.

For best media strategy-consumer durables, Mudra Max’s TVS Scooty - Women on Wheels, Maxus’ Nokia Xpress Music - Redefining the way mobile phones are sold! and Lodestar Universal’s Tata Nano  - Utilizing the power of Nanovations have been shortlisted.

For best media strategy-services, Mindshare’s Virgin Mobile - Creating a Lighthouse identity for Virgin Mobile in India and KFC - 2008 Halving The distance From home To the KFC store and Madison Media Plus’ BBC World Service Trust - Condom. Say it aloud have made it to the shortlist.

For best media strategy-media/media property, Digital Radio (Mumbai) Broadcasting Ltd.’s Red FM's Bajaate Raho Awards 2008, Mindshare’s Star World - Matt the Mind Reader and Lodestar Universal’s Radio City - Planet Radio City - How Radio City conquered Cyber space! have  got shortlisted.
