24 hours with...Debosmita Majumder
Name: Debosmita Majumdar
Job: Chief marketing officer, WeWork India
Professional mantra: I believe in the power of 'We'. A cohesive and collaborative team can produce extraordinary results and make work immensely fulfilling
Personal mantra: Live authentically

6:00am: My mornings usually start with some form of exercise, tailored to my mood ranging from intense strength training to cardio, a refreshing walk or yoga. However, there are mornings when I prefer to take it slow, so my week is a balanced mix of both.

7:00am: Following my workout, I like to unwind with a comforting cup of ginger tea which is a fail-safe mood booster.

9:00am - 10:am: Once my workday begins, I usually check emails, respond to urgent messages, and set priorities for the day. Some days I also have quick calls or meetings with team members to discuss any pressing issues.

12:00pm: By noon, my workday is in full swing with a blend of meetings, including one-on-one sessions with my direct reportees, brainstorming sessions with the team, and cross-functional meetings with other internal and external teams.

2:00pm: To avoid the post-lunch slump, I always try to schedule an exciting task at this hour, accompanied by a refreshing cup of green tea.

6:00pm: Around this time, I shift gears and wind down for the day. I usually wrap up by taking stock of the day, reviewing completed tasks and what work is in progress. I also use this time to make a quick note of what’s in the pipeline for the next day, while making any necessary adjustments to my schedule to accommodate the key things that I need to tackle.

8:00pm onwards: The remainder of my day is dedicated to myself, and I prefer to have a light schedule, one that won’t disturb my sleep and food patterns. On Friday and Saturday evenings, I enjoy catching up with friends and family, and on Sundays, I centre myself and prepare for the upcoming week.
