19 Indian entries make The Clio Awards shortlist

19 entries from India have made it to The Clio Awards shortlist for 2008. There are three entries in the Television/Cinema category including ‘Traffic’ for Nike by JWT (editing), ‘Rusty Nail’ for Neo Sports by O&M (media) and ‘Stretch Festival’ for Pondicherry Yoga Festival by JWT (music-original).

19 entries from India have made it to The Clio Awards shortlist for 2008. There are three entries in the Television/Cinema category including ‘Traffic’ for Nike by JWT (editing), ‘Rusty Nail’ for Neo Sports by O&M (media) and ‘Stretch Festival’ for Pondicherry Yoga Festival by JWT (music-original).
Meridian Communications entry for treesforfree.org is shortlisted in the Design category. Rediffusion DY&R’s entries for Sugar Free including ‘Sugar Free Ants Muffin’, ‘Sugar Free Ants Ice Cream’ and ‘Sugar Free Ants Cup’ have got shortlisted in the Innovative category.
In the Print category, 12 entries have been shortlisted. These include ‘Twins’ for Reynolds Permanent Markers by JWT, ‘Headline’ for O&M by O&M, ‘Family’ for Duroflex Mattresses by Mudra Communications, ’Giraffe’ for Save Trees-Sanctuary by TLG India and ‘Light 1’, ‘Light 2’ and ‘Light 3’ for Harpic Drain Cleaner by Euro RSCG India.
The other entries in the Print category are ‘Bed’, ‘Chair’ and ‘Table’ for HotWheels by O&M, ‘Debate 1’, ‘Debate 2’ and ‘Debate 3’ for Lifetime Prepaid Card by O&M, ‘Che’, ‘Chaplin’ and ‘Hitler’ for Luxor Highlighter by Leo Burnett, ‘Ship’, ‘Train’ and ‘Bus’ for Marbels by O&M, ‘Doctor’, ‘Passenger’ and ‘Spy’ for Reliance Mobiles by Leo Burnett, ‘Reincarnation’, ‘Spirits’ and ‘Afterlife’ for Apollo Hospital by O&M and ‘Two Mothers 01’, ‘Two Mothers 02’ and ‘Two Mothers 03’ for The Indian Association for Promotion of Adoption and Child Welfare by O&M.
‘Memory Notepad’ for Sri Aurobindo Consultancy by Leo Burnett has made it to the Print: Direct Mail shortlist. ‘Gunshot’, ‘Soap Opera’ and ‘Table Tennis’ for Videocon TV by O&M is shortlisted in the Radio category.
