RB invites agencies to pitch for Dettol's creative duties in India

Reckitt Benckiser (RB) is inviting agencies to a ‘creative challenge’ to handle its Dettol brand in India.

The brand's creative duties have been handled by Havas Worldwide since 2008. The agency continues to handle other brands from the RB portfolio, including Veet, Vanish, Harpic, Itchguard and Dermicool.

An RB statement dated 2 April 2014 inviting agencies to make a pitch for the business, said, “Dettol has been consistently voted by Indian consumers as one of the most trusted brands for over a decade. With a legacy of more than 80 years, it has become the trusted champion of health. Given the ambition to further strengthen communication across the brand portfolio, Dettol aims to explore new partners through the creative challenge process.”

The pitch process is being managed by London-headquartered Agency Assessments International.
