Kunal Jamuar joins MPG as head of West India

MPG India has appointed Kunal Jamuar as the head of West India and the executive director for MPG's Mumbai office. In his new role, Jamuar will be responsible for the growth of MPG Mumbai and the integrated services offerings at the agency which include digital, sports and entertainment.

Along with this, Jamuar will also work with different units within the agency including Media Contacts and Havas Sports & Entertainment to create integrated solutions for existing and new clients.

Commenting on Jamuar's appointment, Anita Nayyar, chief executive officer, Havas Media & MPG South Asia, said, “Kunal came across as a very mature media professional with a fire in his belly to make it big and go for the big kill. It is this hunger to make things happen which impressed us.”

“We are very happy to have found someone of his calibre to head the MPG Mumbai operation. With his experience, knowledge and expertise we look forward to his support in growing our Mumbai operations and provide leadership in the market”, she added.

On his appointment, Jamuar said, "One of the key reasons for joining MPG is that I find them to be a "Future Ready" agency, with a healthy focus on New Media, New tools and New Thinking. I look forward to supporting MPG's objective of achieving its rightful place in the Indian media space".

Jamuar joins MPG from Lintas Media Group. In a career spanning close to 15 years, he has also had stints with Madison Media, Media Direction and Mudra Communications. He started his career with ORG-MARG in 1996.
