Weekend watch: Craftsvilla celebrates the independent woman, and her many hues

Watch the ad film conceptualised and executed by Shortfilmwala here

Ahead of International Women's Day, which is celebrated on 8 March, Craftsvilla has rolled out a film that leads viewers to its collection for the occasion. The film has been conceptualised and executed by Shortfilmwala.

Set to a voice over that narrates Hindi poetry by Tripurari Kumar Sharma, it features an independent young woman heading out into the picturesque countryside by herself. She rides a bike, takes a boat, and shares a cart with fellow travellers to reach her destination – atop a mountain..

Monica Gupta, co founder, Craftsvilla.com, said, “Women have long been stereotyped as followers and we wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate the power she commands. Our video celebrates the resilient Indian woman who has the courage to step out of the shadows and lead the way."

The festivities have begun.

Have a wonderful weekend.
