Weekend Fun: With an eye on safety

Watch the video conceptualized by BBDO Russia for Intouch Insurance here

We have another long weekend coming up and a lot of ad folks would have their long drives planned.

Russian insurance company Intouch wanted to convey the dreadful consequences of speeding to drivers, so they partnered with BBDO Russia Group to bring out a layered digital PSA.

The film titled ‘Most Terrible Fatal Car Crash Ever’ has a run time of 10 minutes. All the action is captured from a car (with a dashboard camera on) following another. The layered film kicks in when the viewer tries to scroll forward to witness the fatal crash. At no point does the viewer ever see the crash take place on the main video. The crash is only seen as part of the frame pop up on the YouTube scroll bar. The scroll ‘video’ ends with a message that says, ‘Don’t rush’ while the main video ends with the car still driving cruising along.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend.
