Royal Enfield partnered agency Wieden and Kennedy and production company Hello Robot, for a film to mark the launch of its café racer model Continental GT in London.
The film features a group of rockers who takes an 11,000-kilometer road trip starting from the birthplace of café racer culture, The Ace Café in London. The film captures their experiences enroute, before biking it to the finish at Madras Café, Chennai. It features real bikers from London and crew of motorcyclists including cinematographer Magni Agustsson. The three-minute film was shot over a month of riding across several countries.
The film was released online on 11 September, the day of the bike's launch in the UK.
