With less than a month for the start of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, worldwide partner of the Games Procter & Gamble has rolled out a sequel to its 2012 ‘Best Job’ film.
A film titled ‘Put Them Back Up’ has been created by Wieden+Kennedy.
The film shows mothers of toddlers, kids, and young men and women, helping their children get back up when they fall, encouraging them to try again. The film moves to athletes from different sports, and their mothers encouraging them from the sidelines. It shows mothers standing by children through their failed attempts consistently, and culminates in the moments of glory on the Olympic stage for their children.
P&G has announced that it will also be sending mothers of competing athletes from more than 20 countries to Sochi, to watch their children achieve their dreams of competing in the Olympics.
Hatsunori Kiriyama, president, P&G Asia, said, “At P&G we feel that behind every athlete is an even more amazing mom. Just as P&G brands are with moms every day, our brands support moms of Olympians in the P&G Family Home with the everyday services that make an extraordinary difference when a family is far from home.”
