Monday Morning Watch: An appeal to #SaveTheFarmer

Watch the video conceptualised by Limitless here

#SaveTheFarmer

Feeding the country, farmers commit suicide every year. How long before we save the hand that feeds? #SaveTheFarmer is an initiative by Limitless that aims to bring to light the grim situation of farmers in India. Let's help spread awareness about Farmer Suicides and make a difference.

Farmers were top of mind in January, when the rituals around harvest festivals reminded us of our roots.

And then, they will be, when they are in the news for the wrong reasons.

Here's a video by Bengaluru-based Limitless that reminds us that all is not well with those in our villages dependent on agriculture for their livelihoods.

It ends with an appeal to donate to an NGO – or any actually – working on ground to alleviate their suffering.

Not a bad idea, especially at the fag end of the financial year.

Have a fabulous week ahead.
