Kapoor, Kohli and Sharma #LiveItAbhi for Pepsi

Watch the film conceptualised by J. Walter Thompson here

Pepsi has launched its latest TVC themed 'Time to dikhao - #LiveItAbhi' that captures the madness of the ongoing World Cup. The film has been conceptualised by J. Walter Thompson and stars cricketer Virat Kohli and actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

The film begins in a packed stadium where the Indian national team is playing. Batting for team India is Virat Kohli. He hits the ball for a six, where the ball is caught by Kapoor. Kapoor takes the opportunity to have his 15 seconds of fame when he realises that the world will be looking at him as long as he is in possession of the ball. He hides it and breaks into song and dance.  He sings about being a spectator long enough and how it’s his turn to ‘dikhao’(show).

As the stadium floodlights and attention move from Kohli to Kapoor, the singing continues. Unfortunately, his plans are foiled when he gets stuck on the stadium fence. Kapoor loses control of the ball and Kohli mocks him with a dance, as everything goes back to normal. When a young boy tells him that he has failed, Kapoor retorts saying, 'At least I tried'.

Just as the plot thickens, the films ends with the film showing the audience a smiling Sharma, who asks the embarrassed Kapoor to call her.  The ad ends with flashing the brand’s message of ‘Live it Abhi’.
