DHFL, a housing finance company in the private sector that has sponsored the IPL team Mumbai Indians this season, has launched a new campaign titled 'Aao India Ghar Banayein' (let's build homes, India).

The TVC features players from the Mumbai Indians. It opens with Zaheer Khan and Keiron Pollard shown warming up. During one stretching exercise, Khan and Pollard touch each other's hands to form a shape of a house and to their surprise at that time they hear a chant - 'Aao India Ghar Banayein'. They look for the source of the chant, only to see Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha instead laughing at them. All four players are then lined up together shown exercising and making the home formation with their hands, encouraging India to buy their own homes.

Rakesh Makkar, president and CDO, DHFL, said, “DHFL’s ‘Aao India Ghar Banayein’ campaign is a reflection of the company’s vision as established by our founder chairman, Late Shri Rajesh Kumar Wadhawan in 1984. It will be a multi-phase multimedia campaign to be spread throughout the year - starting with TV, print, radio and outdoor, to be followed with activations and enhanced digital presence.”

Bhargava Krishna, creative director, Bugs Eye View, said, “The campaign is envisaged to communicate DHFL’s core belief and the dream of every human being - of owning a home. We have tried to marry this aspiration with the themes of IPL and elections given their timeliness. The campaign, in the coming period, will take festive seasonal avatars on the same theme.”
