D’Décor has rolled out a new film to promote its app, conceptualised by Famous Innovations. It features brand ambassadors Gauri and her husband, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.

The film opens with Khan saying, 'I am an actor and I do as my director says'. Before he completes his statement he's interrupted by Gauri. She asks him to move slightly as she starts visualising the colour of her new curtains. She hints towards 'Blue-ish'. Shah Rukh suggests 'Green-ish'. He then says 'It's her vision, it needs to be perfect.' Then, Shah Rukh is sitting on a sofa. Gauri asks him if 'Linen-ish' will be good. Shah Rukh asks her 'Suede-ish. Gauri approves it. Khan says 'I mostly deliver what my directors asks, but sometimes I improvise.' As he says that, he hands his wife a tablet to browse the new D’Décor app, saying that the director can get exactly what she wants. The film ends with Khan saying 'No more ish. Download the app now.'

Nikita Desai, ‎VP, strategy and new business, D’décor, said, “India is seeing a rise in personal fashion consciousness. Along with that fashion for home is simultaneously on the rise and will see an inflection point in coming years. Wanting to continue to shape the market through innovations in products and experience we created a new campaign that showcases our new product offering which removes the ambit of uncertainty so that the consumer gets exactly what she has imagined. The film highlights the features of the app and how it can ease the consumer’s pain point thus helping them take the best decision.”

Raj Kamble, founder and CCO, Famous Innovations, said, “D’décor is a market leader and this app is just another example of the brand’s innovative thinking. The film revolves around a common point of confusion that most consumers face, when they don’t get exactly what they have in mind and are forced to settle. We used Shah Rukh and Gauri’s endearing chemistry to bring out the app’s proposition in a consumer-friendly, emotional way.”

The film went on air on 1 October. The campaign also has print, outdoor and digital.
