Google India has rolled out a new online and offline campaign targetting creative people who are using the power of the web to do extraordinary things.

The film being aired in India, created by BBH India, is titled, “Archana’s Kitchen”. It tells the story of lady called Archana Doshi who took forward her childhood passion of cooking to the web through Blooking (Blog Cooking). From the blog she developed a faithful set of followers online, leading to a website, which culminated in a catering service along with a book deal.

Commenting on campaign, Nikhil Rungta, country marketing head, Google India, said, “The Web Is What You Make of It’campaign showcases some truly inspiring stories of people doing amazing things using the Chrome browser in their everyday lives. The web has completely transformed people’s lives today. Nowadays people spend more time online, in their browser, than they do in their car. You can make yourself heard, make a comment, share a picture or simply stay connected just by being online. The campaign shows how the web empowers people to amplify anything they want to do. The campaign, at its core, is about people. It opens people’s eyes to how they can connect, inspire and impact the world via the power of the web. It’s also an open invitation to get people online and using the web to its full potential”.
