'Agostine' meets 'Santiago', as Scrabble scripts the magic of words

Watch the film conceptualised by Lola Madrid here

Scrabble has released an ad themed ‘Anagram lovers’, conceptualised by Lola Madrid.

It tells the story of two young people looking for love and how they find each other, through an engaging play of anagrams to describe their stations in life. The film tells the story of 'a Cab Driver' and a 'Crab Diver', one from 'Tokyo' and the other from 'Kyoto'. They are on their separate journeys to find a partner, both missing their exes. The word play style of storytelling continues as they even turn to psychiatrists for help without luck. Both get invited to the same costume party, thanks to common friends.  While one is dressed for as 'An Apple Pie', the other is 'A Pineapple'. While one takes a 'Nasty Old Train' to get there, the other takes the 'Tiny Slant Road'. When they finally meet, she introduces herself as 'Agostina' and he, as 'Santiago'. The film ends with Scrabble signing off stating 'There's magic in words'.
