Zoomcar assigns creative mandate to Sunny Side Up

Account won following multi-agency pitch

Zoomcar assigns creative mandate to Sunny Side Up
Sunny Side Up has been appointed as the creative AoR  for self-drive car rental company Zoomcar. The account was awarded after a multi-agency pitch and will be handled by the agency's Bengaluru office.

A multi-city campaign will 'soon' be rolled out across radio, digital, print and outdoor. The company has operations in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune, with plans to launch in 15 more Indian cities in India in the next 12 months.

Greg Moran, co-founder and CEO, Zoomcar, said, "We have a unique opportunity from a brand perspective since this business in India is a total white space, we can define and own the category of self-drive cars. We decided to go with Sunny Side Up given their experience in handling start-ups who are looking to fast-track their growth trajectory and their vision on how brand Zoomcar will evolve."

Saurabh Pandey, business director, Sunny Side Up, said, “The mandate from the team at Zoomcar is extremely clear. The brand needs to reflect the disruptive nature of the business Zoomcar has created. Making the brand synonymous with the category is an extremely interesting challenge. We look forward to creating communication which truly lives up to the mandate.”
