Wrigley's Orbit signs on Deepika Padukone as brand ambassador

Wrigley’s Orbit has signed on actress Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador. This is the first time in India that Orbit has taken on a brand ambassador. The actress is expected to promote oral health benefits, in line with Orbit's claim of fighting tooth decay and reducing harmful plaque acids.

A company spokesperson said, "Deepika’s association with Orbit sugar-free chewing gum will synchronise well with the brand and its objectives. We believe that this association would help us achieve widespread awareness about the importance of oral care and the benefits of chewing Orbit sugar-free chewing gum.”

The company plans to leverage Deepika for its advertising campaign to be launched in March. She will be featured in promotional materials and events and will also make appearances on behalf of Orbit sugar-free chewing gum.
