Weekend fun 2: Writer resigns with online video, company responds with another

Marina Shifrin decided to put in her papers in an innovative manner at Next Media Animation on 28 September. She worked for the Taiwan-based firm that produces news videos for close to two years, as a writer.

She created a video that showed her dancing to the Kanye West song 'Gone', and stated the reasons for her quitting through the subtitles.

The video published on 28 September had received 12,877,215 views at the time of filing this story.

Next Media Animation reacted to this and created a video of their own on 1 October. Its video response has garnered 3,035,605 hits so far.
