R&PM: Edelman beefs up senior management

R&PM: Edelman has announced important changes in senior management. It has promoted Ophira Samuel-Bhatia as head of operations, Mumbai. Bhatia has been with the company for 13 years. Amit Misra has been appointed to head operations in Delhi.

R&PM: Edelman has announced important changes in senior management. It has promoted Ophira Samuel-Bhatia as head of operations, Mumbai. Bhatia has been with the company for 13 years. Amit Misra has been appointed to head operations in Delhi.
Roma Pereira-Talwar will be director - national lifestyle and healthcare practices. Sachin Talwar has been appointed director - national corporate practice, while Allwyn Fernandes has been appointed director - social engagement in addition to his role as director of the media practice. Fernandes was a journalist for 25 years and has been in corporate communications for the last 14 years. All these people will report to Roger C B Pereira, CEO and managing director.
“In the four years since we have entered the market, Edelman has invested in our people and in our operations. Today’s appointments underscore those investments and strengthen our foundation for accelerated growth in the coming years,” said,  Alan VanderMolen, president, Asia Pacific.
